Komain (コマイン, Komain) is a character of Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki series.
Appearance[]
Komain is a girl of around seventeen who wears clothing reminiscent of a Native American attire. she is a beautiful, healthy, athletic girl with tanned skin and muscular arms and legs.
Personality[]
Komain is a driven individual who does her best to speak for those she cares about. This sometimes comes at the expense of her own feelings and desires. Nevertheless, she works to achieve the best outcome.
Biography[]
Komain originally comes from an unnamed country that existed in the northern part of Landia. This country was unfortunately destroyed and is now part of the Demon Lord's Domain. She managed to escape the destruction with her brother, Jirukoma, and became a refugee. The group they were a part of eventually settled outside of Parnam, where they established a refugee camp. Komain felt strongly for the other people in the camp, and seems to perhaps have been a voice for them to her brother, who was looked to as a leader.
When Kazuya finally decided that it was time to do something about the refugee crisis, he sent several messengers with his request to the refugee camp before coming personally to address them. When he met with Jirukoma and Komain, Kazuya gave a final offer to the refugees to fully immigrate and naturalize or to get out. When Jirukoma began to accept these terms, Komain spoke out that the people of the camp could never naturalize when they desired to return home. However, Jirukoma seemed to understand that it was not the majority of the camp that believed this, Komain included. As a compromise, Jirukoma and those like him who believed in returning to their home countries would depart, while Komain would lead the refugees as they integrated into their new, permanent lives in Elfrieden.
When the former refugees moved to the new city of Venetinova , Komain acted as a representative for them to the governor of city, Poncho. She also did much to assist her companions as much as she possibly could. After some time, she began to lose her sense of direction and began searching for a new goal, which she initially believed might be joining her brother. However, it was during a meeting with Poncho, where Serina was also in attendance, that she learned about Poncho's cooking. Joining them for dinner that evening, she established that her new purpose was to support Poncho so that she could eat his delicious cooking. Thus Komain became a secondary aid to Poncho alongside Serina.
As Komain is more in touch with her personal feelings than Serina, she was the first to realize that both Serina and she herself were in love with Poncho. When Kazuya questioned her about why it seemed that Poncho was having such difficulty finding a wife when he was inundated with marriage proposals, Komain explained how Serina's intense personality was driving away both those with ill-intention and those well-meaning. She also admitted to Kazuya that she had feelings for Poncho, but realized that because of her commoner birth, she would not be a good choice to be a first wife. Believing that Serina had feelings that she did not understand, Komain forced Serina to confront her feelings directly, which lead to Serina confessing to Poncho and becoming his first wife, with Komain happily becoming his second wife.
Komain and Serina both married Poncho on the same day as Kazuya's coronation and wedding as part of the joint celebrations across Parnam. Sadly, Komain's brother was not in attendance. What some might also consider strange about their wedding was that Serina's family did the serving afterwards. In part due to Serina's requests, Komain joined her in pressuring Poncho about children quickly. As a result, Serina and Komain are now both expecting.
Currently, Komain is still acting as an aid to Poncho in Venetinova, though it is unclear if she is actively working like Serina is during her pregnancy or taking maternity leave.
